Gaya, Bihar, [02.09.2025]:
A Legal Awareness Campaign was organized at +2 Senior Secondary School, Tepa-Fatehpur, Tikari (Gaya) with the objective of sensitizing students about the importance of Fundamental Rights and the need for legal literacy among the younger generation.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who were introduced to the core values and constitutional guarantees of Fundamental Rights in a simple and engaging manner. The session emphasized that awareness of rights and duties not only builds confidence among youth but also prepares them to become responsible and empowered citizens.
The campaign was led by Mr. Shubham Kumar, Research Fellow, Department of Mass Communication, Central University of South Bihar, who delivered the session in an interactive style. Using real-life examples and student-friendly explanations, he highlighted how understanding rights equips individuals to stand against injustice and make informed decisions in their lives. A special thanks to Mr. Rahul (Journalism & Media Dept.) for his energetic session.
The event was also graced by Om, Founder of LawBRO, who reiterated the organization’s mission to bridge the gap between legal knowledge and society. He emphasized that legal literacy at the school level ensures that even students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds are not deprived of their rightful awareness of constitutional protections.
The teachers and administration of the school extended wholehearted cooperation and lauded the initiative, recognizing it as a significant step towards building legal consciousness among students.
This campaign is part of LawBRO’s ongoing efforts to promote legal literacy and awareness at the grassroots. By focusing on schools and youth engagement, LawBRO aspires to create a generation that is well-informed about their rights, conscious of their duties, and prepared to contribute positively to the progress of the nation.
